We have heard learned counsel for the parties on this interim application, which prays for early hearing of the petition. Having due regard to the fact that the writ petition itself is of the year 2012, as also having perused the averments as made in the interim application, we are of the opinion that the writ petition needs to be heard at an early date.

Accordingly, list the petition for hearing on 10 July 2026 (HOB). 3.

All contentions of the parties on merits are expressly kept open. 4.

Interim application stands disposed of. No costs. 5.
