LSP 2 22 ia 7178.24.doc P.C. :

Interim Application No.7178/2024, which is on Board today is taken out by one Mr. Shaligram Mishra claiming to be representing Oil Field Employees Association for impleadment in the Contempt Petitions and to re-open the Contempt Petition which has been disposed of.

2.

Three Contempt Petitions bearing No.351/2005, 353/2005 and 354/2005 taken out by the Unions are pending consideration. 3.

The primary enquiry in Contempt Petitions would be whether the orders of this Court have been breached and whether the Respondents have committed any contempt of the Court. That being the scope of the enquiry, intervention cannot be by way of a right. Apart from this position, we note that the Contempt Petitions are listed before the Division Bench headed by the learned Chief Justice. In such a situation, it will not be proper for us to entertain the Application separately. No orders on the Application, at present. (M.M. SATHAYE, J.) (NITIN JAMDAR, J.)
