Learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that the parties have actually arrived at consent terms, but due to a technical difficulty, they are unable to present it to the Lok Adalat today - the reason being that the Appeal had been disposed of by way of earlier order on the ground of non-removal of office objections. An application for restoration has been filed and is pending.

In the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, considering that the consent terms are said to have been finalised but have not been signed only to wait for the restoration to be effect, we are of the view that it would be in the interests of justice that the matter be released from the Lok Adalat for being listed before the said Single Bench on October 3, 2024.

The Registry is directed to list the application for restoration as well as the First Appeal under the caption "For Approval of Consent Terms" first on the Supplementary Board on October 3, 2024 at 2.30 p.m.
