This is an Application under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act"), seeking an extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, which has expired on March 28, 2024. 2.

Although the Petition had been filed last year, for some reason it has not come up till today. No useful purpose would be served keeping this pending any further on the docket of this Court. In these circumstances, taking on record that this is a first extension sought and the stage at which the Arbitral proceedings are placed, this Application is finally disposed of extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal until December 31, 2025. 3.
