ORDER:

On 26th July 2024, the learned counsel for the contemnor had tendered an additional affidavit on record. Hence, the contempt petition was listed today under the caption for final hearing. However, when the matter is called out today, learned counsel for respondent no.1-contemnor states that contempt notice is not yet served upon respondent no.1. He however, submits that the office be directed to hand over the contempt notice to the learned advocate for the contemnor and the learned advocate would hand over the same to the contemnor. He further submits that he would thereafter file an affidavit-in-reply in response to the contempt notice within four weeks from today.

Contemnor is present in the court today and he submits that he would accept the contempt notice forwarded to him through his advocate. The statement made on behalf of the contemnor is accepted. Office is therefore directed to hand over contempt notice to Mr. Gireesh Menon, advocate for the contemnor, for handing over the same to the contemnor.

Reply to the contempt notice shall be served by the advocate for the contemnor to the advocate for the petitioner in advance. Page no. 2 of 3

Learned advocate for the contemnor is at liberty to file the reply to the contempt notice in the registry within four weeks from today.
