This is an application filed for condonation of delay of a period of 248 days in filing the First Appeal against the judgment dated 16 December 2022 passed by the Additional Judge, Small Causes Court and Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division, Pune arising from Land Acquisition Reference No.628 of 2000, filed under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act.

The reasons for such delay have been explained by the Applicant Pallavi Wargaonkar, PS 1/2

17-IA-10730-2024.doc in paragraphs 5 and 6 of the said application. From a perusal thereof, it is observed that the Applicant has made out a case for condonation of such delay. It appears that the delay is not inadvertent, deliberate and or intentional.

The learned AGP for the Respondent would oppose such application.

In the interest of justice, in light of sufficient cause for condoning such delay being shown, the Interim Application deserves to be allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). Interim Application is accordingly disposed of.
