This Interim Application is filed with twin prayers, viz. substitution of the legal heirs of the deceased Writ Petitioner, who died on 23rd October 2023 during the pendency of the Writ Petition and condonation of delay of 90 days in filing the Interim Application. The names and particulars of the surviving legal heirs of the deceased Writ Petitioner are furnished in para 4 of the Application. The explanation for delay in filing the Application is perused. The Respondents though served, did not file any objection to the prayers. In other words, it is not in dispute that the legal 12th September 2025

25 IA.11783.2024.DOC heirs named in para 4 of the Application are the only surviving legal heirs of the Writ Petitioner.

In view of the above, we condone the delay of 90 days in filing the Application and also allow the prayer for substitution of the legal heirs of the deceased Writ Petitioner as indicated in para 4 of the Application. The deceased Petitioner be substituted by incorporating the names of the legal heirs of the deceased Petitioner in the array of parties. Necessary amendments to be carried out.

The Interim Application stands disposed of.
