None appears for the Petitioner. The Petition was listed on 3 January 2025 when also none had appeared on behalf of the Petitioner. This Court therefore directed the Petition to be listed today under caption 'for dismissal'. Despite Petition being listed under caption for dismissal, none appears for the Petitioner. It appears that Petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the Petition. The Petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. 2.
Interim Applications, Civil Applications are filed seeking intervention expressing a grievance that on account of mutation of name of Government of Maharashtra to the land in question applications of interveners for fixation of purchase price under section 32G of the Maharashtra Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1948 have not been decided. In my view, this is an altogether different and distinct grievance unrelated to the main Petition. The Interveners would accordingly be at liberty to adopt necessary remedies in respect of their grievance relating to fixation of purchase price. Interim Applications and Civil Applications are accordingly disposed of.
