In the above Appeal, the Appellant seeks to challenge the Judgment and Order dated 2nd April 2024 passed by the learned Family Court, Thane in Divorce Petition No.A-3 of 2020. By the Impugned Order, inter alia, a divorce was granted to the Respondent-Husband. SEPTEMBER 06, 2024 Utkarsh

Considering that the above matter is coming up for the first time, we direct the Registry to issue notice to the Respondent returnable on 4th October 2024. Hamdast permitted.

In addition to the Court notice, the learned advocate for the Appellant is permitted to serve the Respondent with the papers and proceedings in the above Family Court Appeal, along with a copy of this order, by private notice as well.

In the meanwhile, and without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties, it is directed that the Respondent-Husband shall not re-marry, if not already married.
