The State prays for extension of time to file their affidavit in reply in the Writ Petitions lodged in 2017, bearing Writ Petition Nos. 5439 of 2017 and 5452 of 2017. In the last seven years, the reply is not filed. Even today, the reply is not ready.

As a last chance, an affidavit in reply shall be filed by 22nd October, 2024, failing which, the State Authority shall deposit cost of Rs. 25,000/-, in each of the Petitions.

The Interim Application is disposed off.
