**** CORAM : RAVINDRA V. GHUGE & ABHAY J. MANTRI, JJ.

DATE : 27th MARCH, 2026

P.C. :- 1.

The only request that the Petitioner is making today is for an early decision on the Petitioner's proposal seeking Occupation Certificate under the Deemed Conveyance as per Clause 2.10 of the UDCPR for buildings A and G wing, dated 2nd December, 2022 made by the Architect, which is pending with Respondent No.2. It is only prayed that the proposal may be decided by following the due procedure laid down in law and strictly in accordance with the provisions applicable.

2.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to Respondent No.2 to deal with the pending application/proposal by following the due procedure laid down in law within a period of six weeks, as is requested by the learned Advocate for the Council.

3.

The Interim Application filed by the Applicant, is on the basis that he is an RTI activist and he wants to expose illegalities.

4.

In such matters, we are not inclined to entertain applications of an RTI activist, since he has nothing to do with the pending proposal which is to be decided in accordance with law. On the point of locus, this Interim Application is rejected. (ABHAY J. MANTRI, J.) (RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.)
