The Writ Petition was at a pre-notice stage on a lodging number. Before being registered, the same was dismissed on account of non-removal of office objections.

This Interim Application seeking restoration of the Writ Petition, suffers from 48 days delay.

Since the Petition was at a pre-notice/ pre-registration stage, we are entertaining this Interim Application.

The learned AGP submits that an appropriate order may be passed.

Since the delay of 48 days is not too large, for the reasons set out, this Interim Application is allowed. The delay is condoned.

All office objections shall be removed, on or before 20th March, 2025, failing which, this order would stand recalled and the order of dismissal of the Petition would be applicable with effect from 21st March, 2025.
