This is an Interim Application filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal.

Learned Counsel for both parties informed that the Arbitral Award is in fact ready but it is not published since mandate of the Tribunal has expired. It is thus that an extension for a period of one week is sought for. Ajit

There is no opposition to this Application. Hence, Interim Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a), which reads thus: "(a) that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal be extended by a period of one week to publish the Award in the arbitration proceedings." 4.
