1. The present Interim Application is filed seeking condonation of delay of 68 days in filing the First Appeal.

Having perused the averments in the Interim Application, this Court is satisfied that the reasons set out therein constitute sufficient cause for condoning the delay in filing the First Appeal. In the interest of justice, the delay in filing the First Appeal is accordingly condoned.

The Interim Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) subject to the payment of costs of Rs. 5,000/-, failing which the Appeal shall stand dismissed without further reference to the Court. The said costs to be deposited to the High Court Legal Aid Fund within a period of two weeks from today. The details of the accounts are as under:- Laxmi
