IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

NAGPUR BENCH : NAGPUR CRIMINAL APPEAL NO. 751 OF 2024 Tanmay Shyam Tatewar Vs State Of Maharashtra And Another Office Notes, Office Memoranda of Court's or Judge's Order Coram, appearances, Court's Orders or directions and Registrar's order Mr. M.V.Rai, counsel for appellant.

Mr. Nitin Autkar, APP for respondent/State.

CORAM : URMILA JOSHI-PHALKE, J.

DATED : 20/12/2024.

1.

By preferring this appeal under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, the appellant has challenged the order passed by the Additional Sessions Judge Chandrapur, rejecting the anticipatory bail application of the appellant. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the applicant to some extent, perused the recitals of the FIR, and the order passed by the Special Judge. From which it reveals that there is not only an allegation of abducting the victim, but also assaulting her, obtaining her obscene photographs, and threatening her to make it viral. Considering the allegations, which are of a serious nature. At this stage, I have shown my disinclination to grant ad-interim protection.

3.

Learned APP waives service of notice on behalf respondent/state and seeks time to file reply. 4.

Issue notice to respondent No.2/victim.
