Heard Mr Aditya Rai, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant, Ms Supriya Kak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing respondent No.1/ State, and Mr Diwakar Dwivedi, the learned Counsel appearing for respondents No.2 to 5.

This is an application for cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to respondents No.2 to 5 on 30 November 2023 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Mumbai, in Anticipatory Bail Application No.1796 of 2023. These respondent were released on pre-arrest bail in connection with CR No.508 of 2023, registered at Charkop Police Station, Mumbai, for offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 377, 323, 504 and 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The revocation of bail has been primarily sought on the ground that these respondents retained the custody of the applicant's streedhan.

Mr Aditya Rai, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant and Mr Diwakar Dwivedi, the learned Counsel appearing for respondents No.2 to 5, jointly submit that the
dispute over the applicant's streedhan has been resolved. The respondents No.2 to 5 will deposit the equivalent amount of the streedhan totalling Rs.10,42,050/- in the trial Court as per the consent terms. Mr Dwivedi further submits that the applicant desires to withdraw the present application in light of these consent terms. The consent terms dated 3 September 2024 executed by the contesting parties, tendered by the learned Counsel for the parties, are taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.

After perusing the records, it seems that the parties have reached a comprehensive settlement of their dispute. The contesting parties, present in the Court and identified by their respective Counsel, confirm the consent terms, and pray to dispose of the present application. Needless to state that any breach would allow the applicant to renew her request for cancellation of bail.
