Though the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India time and again held that no Court can impose a condition of depositing of amount for grant of bail, despite the same, the learned Special Judge (under MPID Act) and Additional Sessions Judge, Phaltan vide order dated 08.04.2024 was granted bail directing the applicant to deposit Rs. 2 lakh immediately within 10 days and an amount of Rs. 3 lakh within two months from the date of order and the bail was granted, subject to above referred condition.

The applicant in the present matter therefore, seeking relaxation of above referred condition to the extent of Rs. 3 lakhs. varsha

In view of the well settled principles of law the condition directing the applicant to deposit Rs. 3 lakh within two months from the date of the order dated 08.04.2024 is hereby relaxed and the application is accordingly disposed of.
