Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

The learned Counsel for the respondent submits that there is an element of settlement of the dispute and the parties be referred to mediation.

At the request of the learned Counsel for the parties, Mr. Harshad Sathe, an Advocate, is appointed as a Mediator. 4.

The learned Mediator is requested to make an endeavour to explore the possibility of mediated settlement of the dispute between the parties and submit a report to the Court within a period of four weeks.

5.

In the meanwhile, the respondent shall deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- towards the maintenance of the applicant, which 1/2

4-APPLN170-2024.DOC may be adjusted against the amount, which the Courts may determine by way of interim maintenance/maintenance, within a period of three weeks from today.

6.

In the event the said amount is deposited, the applicant shall be at liberty to withdraw the same.

7.

Stand over to 1st August, 2025.
