The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that these proceedings have been erroneously filed as criminal writ petitions, although the prayers in the proceedings pertain to modification of condition imposed by the Sessions Court, while granting bail, as also a challenge to cancellation of bail. 3.

As the proceedings have been registered as criminal writ petitions and this Court is not assigned the roster of dealing with criminal writ petitions, even if the petitioner in these petitions seeks permission to amend/convert the petitions into appropriate applications, the Registry will have to place these petitions before the appropriate Bench.
