Learned advocate for petitioner states that he has already deposited amount of Rs.25,000/- towards past maintenance. According to him, respondent No.1 is entitled to recover only three years' maintenance, but she has claimed maintenance from the year 2015 onwards.

Issue notice to respondents, returnable on 11/06/2024. Learned APP waives service of notice for respondent No.2/State. In addition, private service is permitted as per rules. 4.

In the meanwhile, there shall be stay to the further proceedings of PWDV No.05 of 2022, pending before the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Sengaon, on condition that petitioner shall deposit amount of Rs.50,000/- in the trial Court within a period of four weeks from today.
