This is an application for suspension of sentence and grant of bail. 2.
Learned Advocate for the applicant pointed out that conviction has been recorded for offence under Sections 323, 506 of the Indian Penal code and under Section 3(1)(r)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, and maximum sentence awarded is of six months. That applicant was on bail during the trial. That fine amount is paid. That applicant is already protected by way of orders of the learned trial Court till tomorrow. For all above reasons, at this stage, he prays that, as the notice of respondent no.2 is awaited, interim protection may be continued.

Considering the quantum of sentence, interim protection to continue till next date.
