This Court, vide order dated 19th November, 2025, had directed to issue notice to Respondent No.2. A report dated 06th December, 2025 filed by the Police Inspector, Police Station Latur Rural shows that the notice was served on the applicant.

It is quite surprising as to how the notice is served on the applicant when the same in fact is required to be served on Respondent No.2 - victim. In that view of the matter, the Police Inspector, Police Station Latur Rural is directed to serve the notice on Respondent No.2 - victim within one week from today. Learned A.P.P. shall communicate this order to the concerned police inspector immediately.
