In the aforesaid background, I have requested Mr. Rajesh Kale, to represent the victim, who has graciously accepted my request and has shown his willingness to appear for the victim of the crime. 3.

In that view of the matter, learned counsel Mr. Kale is appointed to represent respondent no. 2 - Victim. 4.

This is an application for condonation of delay. There is a delay of 61 days in filing an appeal challenging the conviction under the provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The maximum sentence imposed is of three years.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that it is due to the financial difficulties, the appeal could not be preferred in time bound period.

Considering the reasons advanced and length of delay, I am inclined to allow the application. Accordingly, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. Consequently, application for condonation of delay is allowed.

Appeal be registered.
