On 06th September 2024, notices were issued to the victim of the crime, since the conviction is under Section 376(1) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Though the matter has been listed on several occasions, the victim has not been served on the count that at the given address she is not residing. Since a substantial period has lapsed and, for want of service, the appeal is not taken for hearing and considering the fact that the applicant is behind bar, the Secretary, High Court Legal Aid Services Sub-Committee, Aurangabad, is directed to appoint a counsel Shrikant Malani

915.APPLN.3690.2024 from its panel to represent victim on or before two weeks from today. 3.

The learned counsel for the applicant undertakes to supply necessary documents to the newly appointed counsel. 4.
