Learned counsel Mr. Jadhav submitted that applicant is arrested in December 2023 itself, and charge sheet is filed way back in May 2024. According to him, charge is not framed. Learned APP is also not aware of the current status of the case. 2.

In view of such peculiar circumstances, it would be desirable to call report from the learned trial Judge, who is seized with the matter, regarding the calender of trial, if any, the strength of witnesses proposed to be examined by prosecution and further approximate time required to commence and conclude the trial.
