Heard learned Advocate for the Petitioner who submits that the chargesheet has now been filed pursuant to the investigation being completed in Crime No. 57/2017, registered at Crime Branch Police Station. The chargesheet filed has now been allotted to the Sessions Court and bears Sessions Case No. 53/2017, in which charge has been framed, and trial has commenced.

3. In these circumstances, learned Advocate for the Petitioner, on instructions, seeks to withdraw this petition. The petition stands 22nd January, 2026

WPCR 4 of 2026 disposed of as withdrawn.

4. The District and Sessions Court, DJ-1, Mapusa, dealing with the Sessions Case No. 53/17 may endeavour to dispose of the Sessions Case expeditiously.
