1. Heard Mr V. Toraskar, the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner.

2. There is a statement recorded on 7.11.2025 that the Petitioner shall pay the compensation amount of Rs.45,000/- on or before 10.01.2026.

3. Today, it is informed that there is a medical emergency in 6th February, 2026

WPCR 77 of 2024 the family of the Applicant; therefore, the Petitioner has not abided by the statement made on the earlier occasion.

4. As and by way of last chance, the Petitioner shall pay the compensation amount on or before 11.2.2026. In addition to the compensation amount, the Applicant shall also pay a sum of Rs.7500/- in favour of the Goa State Legal Services Authority on or before 11.2.2026 towards costs.

5. The statement made on behalf of the Petitioner is accepted.

6. It is made clear that if the balance amount, as well as costs is not paid by the Petitioner, then the interim protection granted to the Petitioner shall be vacated on 12.2.2026.

7. The Petitioner shall personally remain present in Court on 12.2.2026.

8. Stand over to 12.2.2026, high on board.
