The petitioner is facing trial for offences under the provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. It is stated that the question whether the offence relating to the offence against the minors involving POCSO Act can be quashed with consent, is pending before the Honourable Supreme Court. Hence, stand over to 15.02. 2024.
