Petitioner is charge sheeted for offences u/s.376(2)(n), 323, 324, 420 and 506 of IPC.

The FIR was registered at the instance of Respondent no.2 on 19th May 2022. The allegations in the FIR indicate that complainant and the accused were acquainted with each other from 19th December 2020 onwards. There was friendship between them. There was promise of marriage. The victim was subjected to physical relationship on various occasions.

Advocate for Petitioner submitted that relationship is apparently of consensual nature. The next date before Trial Court is 15th April 2024 for framing charge.
