Learned counsel for the parties submit that the parties would be agreeable to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement. Learned counsel for the petitioner-wife submits that the husband is in arrears to 1/3

the tune of approximately of Rs. 27,00,000/-. He submits that daughter is 11 years old and hence, the petitioner-wife is facing difficulties regarding expenses.

Learned counsel for the petitioner-husband submits that he shall pay an ad-hoc amount of Rs. 4,00,000/- within 10 days from today by directly transferring the amount to the respondent-wife's account. 3.

Statement made on behalf of petitioner-husband is accepted as an undertaking to this Court.

Learned counsel for respondent-wife submits that Mr. Hitesh Vyas, advocate practicing in this Court has agreed to mediate. Learned counsel for the petitioner-husband agrees to go for a mediation.

Hence, by consent Mr. Hitesh Vyas, advocate practicing in this Court is appointed as Mediator. Learned Mediator is at liberty to issue necessary directions regarding payment of charges, if any. The charges, if any, towards mediation shall be borne by the petitionerhusband. 6.

List the petition under the caption "For Settlement" on 6th September 2024.

Subject to the petitioner-husband complying with the aforesaid statement, no coercive action to be taken for recovering the arrears of maintenance.
