P.C.:- 1) Learned Advocate for the Respondent No. 2 submitted that, the principal accused i.e. the husband of Respondent No. 2 namely Zoravarsingh Kamaljitsingh Saini and the father-in-law of Respondent No. 2 namely Kamaljitsingh Saini have fled from the clutches of law and have gone to U.S.A.

2) P.S.I. Mr. Shrikant Chavan, who is personally present in the Court is unable to answer the questions put to him by this Court regarding the steps taken by the Investigating Agency in securing presence of the principal Accused No. 1.

2.1) In view thereof, we direct the Deputy Commissioner of Police 1/2

Gitalaxmi 12-wp-740-2024.doc having territorial jurisdiction over the Bazarpeth Police Station, Thane City to file its detailed Reply to the Petition. In the said Reply, the concerned authority shall also explain as to what steps the Investigating Agency has taken till today in securing the presence of principal accused. 2.2) This be done within a period of three weeks from today. 3) Stand over to 10th September 2024.

4) Till the returnable date, ad-interim relief, if any granted earlier, to continue.
