Considering the grievance of the petitioner and the affidavit filed by the Superintendent of Thane Central Prison, Thane, we deem it appropriate to direct the Secretary, D.L.S.A, Thane to visit the Thane Central Jail and submit a report to this Court with respect to the grievance made by the petitioner. 2.

The Secretary, D.L.S.A, Thane will interact not only with the petitioner but randomly with eight to ten inmates of the jail and submit a report to this Court in a sealed envelope on or before 12th

The above order be communicated to the P.D.J, Thane forthwith to enable him to comply with the same. 4.

Registry to forward copy of the petition as well as the affidavit filed by the Superintendent of Jail, Thane forthwith to the Secretary, D.L.S.A, Thane and P.D.J, Thane through a special messenger.
