Vide the order dated 23.10.2024 we have issued certain directions for carrying out inquiry.

Learned APP has tendered a report of the Inquiry Officer. The report is dated 05.02.2025. A copy of the report is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. In that report, a prayer is made for extension of four weeks time to complete the inquiry. At this request, we are adjourning this matter for compliance of the order dated 23.10.2024; beyond four weeks.

The Petitioner Mr. Nainesh Manilal Panchal is present before the Court. He states that, though the inquiry is going on, his statement is not recorded as per his version. The Petitioner is, therefore, directed to file a short Affidavit pointing out this fact. If the stand taken by the petitioner is correct, then it is really not acceptable that the inquiry is not being conducted impartially. The Court will take serious note of the situation. It is expected that the petitioner is not harassed by the police officer during the enquiry process.
