The Petition is registered on a letter addressed by the Petitioner for transferring him to open jail. Ms. Shradha Sawant is appointed to represent him through the Legal Services Authority.

The learned APP, Ms Kaushik, on instructions from the Superintendent, Nashik Road Central Prison, inform that the Petitioner has already been released on bail on 02.02.2024 vide Criminal Application No.1176 of 2019 by the Bombay High Court.

In the wake of the above, since the prayer has been rendered infructuous, the Writ Petition stands disposed off. R.V.Patil
