P. C. :- 1) The Petition is filed by a mother, whose son went missing on 03.07.2024 and on the complaint filed by her, crime is registered with Kherwadi Police Station, Mumbai invoking Section 137(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

2) When the Petitioner approached this Court from time to time, the updates of the steps taken to trace the son of the Petitioner was placed before us. Mr. Veerdhawal Deshmukh representing the Petitioner, fairly accept that all necessary steps have been taken and he do not blame the Investigating Agency or in no way allege that they did not cooperate. However, one thing is clear that after passage of more than a year and half, the son could not be traced. It appears that, lastly he had forwarded an e-mail to Chartered Accountant Institute from his e-mail ID that is indicating of the fact that he is making an attempt to strive and survive. 1/2

Manoj 1-WP-915-2025.doc 3) In any case, since we have informed that now the investigation is transferred to Anti Human Trafficking Cell, attached to Navi Mumbai Police Station, with a hope and trust that the Respondent shall continue with their search for the corpus and keep the mother updated and similarly expecting a reciprocal way out, in case, if the mother gain any clue, she shall apprise the Respondents - Anti Human Trafficking Cell of the developments, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the Petition. 4) We must also express that since the recent e-mail has offered a clue, we hope that it shall be tracked so that the Investigating Officer can reach the missing boy.

5) The Petition is disposed of.
