Petitioners are charge sheeted for the offence u/s.498A, 504, 506 r/w 34 of Indian Penal Code. The FIR was registered at the instance of Respondent no.2. The marriage between complainant and accused no.1 was performed on 14th December 2014. The complainant has alleged that at the time of marriage the grandfather of her husband had demanded money which was parted. Complainant was ill-treated. Her ornaments were retained by accused.

Petitioner no.1 is the mother-in-law aged around 60 years, Petitioner no.2 is brother-in-law, Petitioner no.3 is sister-in-law of complainant. Petitioner no.4 is maternal grandmother of MANISH SURESHRAO THATTE Date: 2024.03.28 12:03:21 +0530 MANISH SURESHRAO THATTE complainant's husband and Petitioner no.5 is maternal grandfather of complainant's husband. Both are aged around 79 and 84 years. 3.
It is submitted that complaint is based on vague allegations.
2 of 2 34.WP.950.2024.doc Entire family has been roped in the FIR. Some of the Petitioners are senior citizens. Petitioner no.5 is suffering from cancer. 4.
Issue notice to Respondent no.2 returnable on 27th June 2024. 5.
In the mean time Petitioners are exempted from appearing before Trial Court.
