P. C. :- 1) By this Petition received through jail, the Petitioner is seeking a relief of his premature release.

2) Smt. Aruna Mugutrao, Deputy Inspector General of Prison, Nashik Division, Nashik has filed a detailed Affidavit dated 9th February, 2026. In paragraph no.6 thereof it is stated that, the Government of Maharashtra has categorised the Petitioner and placed him in Category 7(b) of the 15th March, 2010 guidelines. That, as per the said category, the Petitioner will have to undergo 18 years of imprisonment including remissions. The Nominal Roll dated 4th February, 2026 of the Petitioner produced on record indicates that, as on 4th February 2026, the Petitioner 1/2
