P.C.:- 1) Record indicates that the Respondent No.2 is served with the notice of the Petition. However despite service, none appears for the Respondent No.2.

2) Stand over to 30th July 2024.

3) Ad-interim relief if any, granted earlier to continue till then. 4) We hasten to note here that we have invariably come across with incorrect remarks put in the farad sheets so also totally incorrect description of the parties and the remarks are incomplete. In the case in hand, on the farad sheets, concerned clerk/Assistant Registrar/Deputy Registrar of the Writ Petition Cell has described the Petitioner as Appellant. 1/2

sns 5-wp-1471-2024.doc It appears to us that the staff in the Registry is extremely casual in preparing the farad sheets, which is causing unnecessary inconvenience to the Court while dealing with the Petitions.

4.1) We therefore, direct the Registrar (Judl-1) to conduct indepth enquiry into the matter and fasten liability of the same on the concerned. Registrar (Judl-1) is directed to submit its detailed report to this Court on the next date of hearing.

4.2) We expect from the Registrar (Judl-1) to go through at least 100 Petitions and/or Applications before arriving at his conclusion. 5) We are at pains to pass such an order as, if this is a situation prevailing in the High Court itself what we can expect from the Registry of the lower Courts to whom directions are being issued by the authorities from our Registry.
