The learned Senior Counsel, Mr. Ponda request for adinterim order in the present petition, however we are of the opinion that the same shall deserve consideration, only upon the State fling its affdavit-in-reply and, therefore, we direct Mr. Yagnik, the learned APP representing the respondent - authorities to fle affdavit-in-rely within a period of three weeks from today, with an advance copy being served upon the learned counsel for the petitioner.

We expect that since the liberty of a citizen is at stake, the State Government will act it at the most priority and if no reply is fled, the request made shall be taken up for consideration.

Re-notify to 01.08.2024.
