1) In furtherance of Order dated 25th October 2024, the Main Mediation Center had appointed Advocate Ms. Kavita N. Solunke, as Mediator and Conciliator in the present case. The said learned Mediator has forwarded its report dated 22nd May 2025 to this Court stating that, the Mediation in the present case is successful. Along with the Mediation Report, Consent Terms dated 22nd May 2025 are annexed. It is stated therein that, on 27th May 2025 the parties will submit draft of Consent Terms before this Court.

Osk 10-Wp-1944-2024.doc 2) Learned Advocate for Respondent No.2 tendered across the bar her Affidavit dated 22nd May 2025 duly affirmed before a Notary Public. She has admitted the fact of amicable settlement between the parties and conversion of Marriage Petition No. A-650 of 2024 to a Mutual Consent Divorce Petition. In para No.5 thereof, the Respondent No.2 has stated that, she is filing this Affidavit on her own free will and giving her complete consent to the prayers made by the Petitioner in the present Petition. 2.1) Respondent No.2 is personally present in the Court and through her Advocate reiterates the contents of her Affidavit dated 22nd May 2025 and her 'No objection' for quashing of the crime in-question. 3) In view of the above, Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).
