By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR bearing C.R. No.142 of 2010, registered with the Amboli Police Station, Mumbai, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 326, 324, 323, 143, 144, 147, 149, 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). 2.

Learned Addl.P.P. on instructions states that after investigation, the police have filed charge-sheet against the petitioner N. S. Chitnis 1/2

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned Addl.P.P., on instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this petition with liberty to pursue other remedies, as permissible in law, before the appropriate forum. 4.

Petition is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed.

We make it clear, that we have not gone into the merits of the allegations made against the petitioner and as such all contentions of all parties on merits are kept open.
