DATED : 2nd SEPTEMBER, 2024 P.C:- Dr. Takalkar, learned APP, has placed before us the categorization of the petitioner by the State Government dated 29/08/2024. Considering the opinion of the Sessions Judge, the State Government has classified him in category 3-B of guidelines dated 11/05/1992, and category 4-D of guidelines dated 15/03/2010, both requiring him to undergo sentence of 24 years, including remission. As on 31/07/2024, he has undergone 21 years, 9 months, and 18 days of imprisonment.

In the wake of his categorization, which would warrant him to undergo 24 years of imprisonment, no case is made out for his premature release as on date. In the wake of the categorization by the State Government, the petition is disposed off. (MANJUSHA DESHPANDE,J) (BHARATI DANGRE, J.) Ashish
