As directed by the earlier order dated 18.07.2024, when the statement of the corpus Mansi Athawle was recorded on 11.07.2024, who had categorically stated that she was in love with one Dhammpal Shyamrao Jogdand and she got married to him on 12.05.2024.
The Petitioner, the mother of the corpus expressed before us that she would like to see her daughter and therefore we directed the girl alongwith Dhammpal Jogdand, her husband, to be produced before us.

Today, Dr. Takalkar, the learned A.P.P. has placed before us the report forwarded by Police Naik, NRI Police Station, Navi Mumbai, and it is seen that the corpus Mansi was intimated about the date of hearing and the directions issued by this Court to remain present, however she has chosen not to remain present. In addition, Dr. Takalkar would submit that one of the police personnel from NRI Police Station, had been to Nanded but getting a tip that the police personnel is coming, she left the place. Therefore, the statement of Gautam Shyamrao Jogdand, the brother of Dhammpal Jogdand is recorded and he has given some unpleasant version, which is indicated that she was put under pressure.

In any case, since now we are satisfied that the corpus is already major and as per her own desire and will she has got married to Dhammpal Jogdand, aged 23 years and they are residing as husband and wife, we deem it appropriate to dispose off the Writ Petition.
