This is a petition for quashing of the F.I.R. registered vide the C.R.No. I 334 of 2021 at Ulhasnagar police station, under sections 498A and 506 r/w. 34 of the I.P.C., resulting in R.C.C.No.76 of 2022 pending before the J.M.F.C., Ulhasnagar. 2.
The F.I.R. is lodged by the first informant/Respondent No.2. She has stated that, she got married with the Petitioner No.1 on 01.02.2020. The Petitioner Nos.2 and 3 are the parents of the Petitioner No.1 and the Petitioner No.4 is the brother of the Digitally signed by VINOD BHASKAR GOKHALE Date:

Petitioner No.1. The F.I.R. mentions that, her parents had given her stridhan in the form of ornaments during wedding. The Petitioners had also given her some ornaments. The stridhan given by her mother was with her and the ornaments given by the petitioners were with the Petitioner No.2. The F.I.R. mentions that the Petitioner No.1 had health issues. He was showing signs of some strange behaviour. The Petitioner No.3 was suffering from depression. There are allegations that the Petitioners were illtreating her. On this basis the F.I.R. was lodged. 3.
The investigation was carried out and the charge-sheet was filed. It contains statement of the mother, the neighbours and the friends of the Respondent No.2 who have supported her case. After all this, now the matter is settled between the parties. The Respondent No.2 has filed her affidavit mentioning specific consent for quashing of the present proceedings arising out of C.R.No. I 334 of 2021 registered with Ulhasnagar police station. The Respondent No.2 is present in the Court. She is identified by her counsel. The Respondent No.2 stated before the Court that she has no objection for quashing of these proceedings. The dispute
between the parties is purely personal in nature. They have settled their matter. Therefore, there is no impediment in quashing the proceedings.

Hence, the following order:
O R D E R
i) The F.I.R. registered vide the C.R.No. I 334 of 2021 at Ulhasnagar police station, resulting in R.C.C.No.76 of 2022 pending before the J.M.F.C., Ulhasnagar, are quashed and set aside.
ii) The Writ Petition is disposed of.
