Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submits that in the court of JMFC in the proceedings under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, parties are referred for mediation on 18th July 2024. He further submits that the next mediation meeting is scheduled on 13th August 2024. He therefore seeks time to take instructions on the progress of the mediation. 2.

By order dated 29th July 2024, I was inclined to issue suo moto notice for enhancement of the maintenance amount. However, by way of last chance, the petitioner was granted time as submission was made on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner Page no. 1 of 2

Hence, in view of the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, list the petition under the caption for 'direction' on 21st August 2024.
