DATED : 2nd SEPTEMBER, 2024 P.C:- Petition filed by the petitioner seeking benefit to extend the benefit of special remission announced by the State Government on the occasion of 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar, is rendered infructuous, as Mr.Gavand has produced before us a communication from the Superintendent, Nasik Road Central Road, Prison dated 2/9/1994, informing that Convict No. C-10794 Kalandhar Badshah Shaikh, has been released from Jail on 9/5/2024 on undergoing the sentence imposed upon him in Special Case No.48/2014.

We would like to put the words of appreciation for Advocate Vinay Taliwal, who, on being appointed has represented the cause of the petitioner effectively before us.
