By this petition, the petitioners seek quashing of the FIR registered vide C.R. No.90 of 2019, registered with the Otur Police Station, Pune Rural, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 406, 408, 409, 420, 463, 464, 465, 467, 468, 471, 470, 120B, 477A, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and under Sections 3 and 4 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act ('MPID Act') N. S. Chitnis 1/2

Learned A.P.P. on instructions submits that the trial has commenced, inasmuch as, charge has been framed in the said case. Learned A.P.P. has tendered a report of Mr. S. D. Ghare, Senior Police Inspector attached to the Economic Offences Wing, Pune Rural, dated 18th August 2025. The said report is taken on record. 3.

In the said report it is stated that charge has been framed in the said case i.e. in Special Case No.110 of 2020 by the learned Special Judge, Junnar.

Considering the aforesaid i.e. trial has commenced, inasmuch as, charge has been framed in the said case, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.

We make it clear, that the trial Court to decide the case on its own merits based on the evidence adduced during trial. SANDESH D. PATIL, J.
