taken us through the various official documents and submits that the Preliminary Enquiry conducted in the matter on source information was closed. The counter-affidavit filed by the respondent-Central Bureau of Investigation is very sketchy and the main thrust by the CBI is that the matter is still under investigation.

3.

We understand that while the matter is under investigation the details of the investigation cannot be disclosed and put on the records. Therefore, we would simply require Mr. Kuldeep Patil, the learned counsel for the CBI to give a list and details of the documents examined by the Investigating Agency in course of the Preliminary Enquiry. This also should be indicated by the CBI whether the documents, a reference of which has been made in the writ petitions, were taken note of during the Preliminary Enquiry.

4. The list of documents be given in relation to the Preliminary Enquiry in the other writ petition also.
