P.C.:- 1) In the morning session, learned APP had tendered across the Bar Affidavit of the Director General of Police, Maharashtra State, dated 1/2

DDR 11. WP 2795-24 & ANR.doc 18th July 2025. We had certain queries about the issue raised by us in our Order dated 7th July 2025. We therefore requested the learned Advocate General, State of Maharashtra, to assist us.

1.1) At our request, learned Advocate General appeared in the matter, in the second session. Learned Advocate General, on instructions submitted that, necessary action under the law has also been initiated against Mr. D.B. Vede, A.P.I. and it will be taken to its logical end. 1.2) Learned Advocate General drew our attention to the Circular dated 17th July 2025 issued by the Director General of Police, State of Maharashtra, thereby directing all the Investigating Officers to maintain the case diary as per the provisions of law. Further necessary directions have already been issued to all the Investigating Officers in the State. He further submitted that, now investigation of the present crime is handed over to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Vartak Nagar Division, Thane and he will carry out investigation as per the provisions of law. We accept the said statement.

2) At the request of learned APP, stand over to 4th August 2025. 3) Ad-interim relief, if any granted earlier, to continue till the next date.
