P.C.:- 1) In this matter, the notice is already issued to the Respondent No.2 and the service of notice is awaited. This Petition is moved for circulation because the chargesheet is already filed and the next date before the trial Court is 11th November 2024. The main submission of the learned counsel for the Petitioner is that he is a friend of the husband of Respondent No.2, therefore, the allegation under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code are not attracted against him.

2) Considering this submission and since the notice is already 1/2

Gaikwad RD 16-wp-4063-2024.doc issued to the Respondent No.2, it would be in the fitness of the situation that the trial against the present Petitioner is stayed till the next date only against the Petitioner.

3) Await service of Respondent No.2.

4) Stand over to 17th December 2024.

5) Till then, the trial Court shall not proceed against the Petitioner.

6) It is made clear that the interim order is made in respect of present Petitioner only.
